Enough cannot be said about the benefits of playing an instrument to a child’s entire development. It’s not without foundation that almost since the beginning of time music has been considered one of the most valuable components of good education. Research shows that playing an instrument enhances standardized test scores, increases brain function and teaches kids to utilize their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The skills a child gains from learning to play an instrument transfer to every discipline they learn in school, college and later in their careers. And the emotional gratification of being able to express oneself creatively and have a rich and admirable outlet for imagination and emotion are simply priceless.
At the Pennsylvania Renaissance Academy we offer individual music lessons in several music instruments for all grade levels. Our teachers

hold degrees from some of the most recognized schools in the US as well as in Europe. Many of their students went on to schools such as Curtis and Julliard and have became award-wining performers. Whether your child is dreaming of becoming a serious musician or simply wants to explore and develop his/her flair for music, we’ll help you find a teacher that will best suit your needs, wants and personality. Individual Music Lessons can take place inside the school or even at your own home. Your child will also have the opportunity to perform in concerts, play in small ensembles with other children, learn music theory, history and much, much more. |

A professional dancer- Carolyn Adams once said, “The Arts -- and dance in particular -- transmit culture, teach skills and fulfill the human spirit. There is perhaps no better description of education than this” We at PA Renaissance Academy feel that dance education is an incredibly important part of every child’s development. Unlike regular exercise, dance is an art form and a beautiful expression of mind and body with benefits that are not simply physical, but also intellectual, emotional, esthetic and social. Our versatile dance programs improve your child’s flexibility, circulation, body tone, posture, balance and coordination. But that’s not all. While learning how to express themselves through dance children awaken consciousness of beauty, grace, movement and form. They cultivate sensitivity for others by learning to dance with a partner and gain confidence and self-esteem by being

able to dance at social gatherings. We offer the most popular dance forms including but not limited to Latin dancing, ballroom dancing, Jazz and improvisation. |
